Private Groups

Planet Rock has hosted private groups of all types including birthday parties, scout groups, corporate groups, religious and community groups. Private party participants will receive a complete introduction to climbing during a typical three-hour group session.

There are two group options for private gym use:

Belay Lesson – Each participant 14 or older learns to belay (hold the ropes) for other climbers. The rate is $32 each for a minimum of 15 participants. Groups of 25 or more people will receive a 10% discount per person.

Clip & Go – If your group does not wish to learn how to belay (hold the ropes) for each other, Planet Rock can provide belayers. The rate is $39 each for a minimum of 15 participants. Groups of 25 or more people will receive a 10% discount per person.

Additional costs:

• Observing guests: $5 each (the first 10 are free)
• Extra hours of activity: $120 per hour
• Overnight: $75 per additional hour
• Dance Floor: $.90 per sq ft

Planet Rock reserves the right to charge a fee for excess clean up at our discretion.

Hours for private gym use:

Party reservations must be made with our group coordinator at least 2 weeks in advance and held with a $150 deposit.

Additional party arrangements can be made with our group coordinator to make your party the best ever.
